Teen Sailing

Teen Sailing is designed for sailors of all experience levels and provides a fun, supportive introduction to sailing or a chance to refine existing skills. Sailors are grouped by ability and focus on learning the fundamentals of boat handling, teamwork, and safe decision-making on the water. Instruction emphasizes core sailing maneuvers such as tacking, jibing, sail trim, and boat control. Sailors will sail a variety of boats including Flying Juniors (FJs), RS Zests, and Lasers, among others. This course builds a strong foundation for continued sailing, including our High School Racing Clinic, as well as future race team opportunities.
