Our Anacortes refinery is located about 70 miles north of Seattle on Puget Sound and has a total crude oil capacity of 119,000 barrels per calendar day (bpcd).
The refinery processes Canadian crude, domestic crude from North Dakota and Alaska North Slope and international crudes to manufacture gasoline, distillates, heavy fuel oil, propane and natural gas liquids and petrochemicals. The refinery distributes products through pipeline connected terminals and MPC’s marine terminal via ships and barges.

It’s more than a boat club… It’s Freedom.
Established in 1989 in Sarasota, FL, Freedom Boat Club is the largest boat club in the world. Our founding vision was clear: to provide a hassle-free boating experience for our members.
In a time when traditional boat ownership dominated the industry, our club model was revolutionary. With no boat clubs or extensive rental options available, we opened the waterways to the shared boat access revolution with premium dockside service and unparalleled training opportunities.
In May of 2019, Freedom Boat Club was acquired by Brunswick Corporation, joining the likes of Mercury Marine engines and boat brands including Bayliner Boats, Boston Whaler, Lund, and Sea Ray among several others – further solidifying our position as a market leader in the marine industry.
We’ve challenged the boating status quo for over 35 years. Today, we operate 400+ locations, offering 90,000+ members access to thousands of premium boats in waterways around the world.
Join Freedom Boat Club today and discover the joy of boating without the hassle.
