Racing Clinic
Ages 13-18
This course is the onramp to team sailing for middle and high schoolers. It is built for beginners and current sailors who want to step into a school sailing team with confidence. Sailors will learn fundamentals like: how a sailboat works, how to move with a partner, and how to communicate under pressure in a doublehanded boat. Expect hands-on sailing, teamwork, and skills that translate directly to racing and team practice. For the week of August 10th, all sailors will train in FJs with Annie Sorensen, a coach from the Northwest who has taken high school teams to nationals 6 times. Coach for week of August 24th TBD. Get ½ off class price when you bring a friend who has NEVER sailed!
